SOMERSET AREA HOLIDAY 2014: Llandrindod Wells

Why not join the 2014 area holiday for a FOUR day THREE night walking weekend and get to know members from other Somerset area groups?
The group will be based at The Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Well. This hotel is well used to catering for groups. The total cost is £178 per person for three night’s dinner, bed and breakfast for shared accommodation in a standard double or twin room. All rooms are en suite and a mixture of doubles and twins (Single occupancy is available at £208 per person).

The four days of walking will be structured to suit a range of walking abilities. Full details of the walks as they evolve will be posted on to a dedicated website, but in outline the programme is likely to be:
Friday: A choice of three moderate 5 to 8 mile walks starting at noon on the way to Llandrindod Wells.
Saturday & Sunday (each day): Choice of a 5-7 mile; a 7-8 mile or a more strenuous 10-12 mile route
Monday: A choice of a couple of moderate 5 or 6 mile walks on the way home.
