THE
MENDIP RING WORK PARTY PHOTOGRAPHS
SECTION
NINE
Part
of this section near Panborough is within Sedgemoor District Council
area and this is where we found a couple of completely blocked paths.
We had four work party sessions to open these paths up with stiles
and some plank bridges.
Our
third session was on AUGUST 12th 2008. An incredibly muddy gateway
was bypassed (somewhat!) by one stile. But before we could start
there was a load of undergrowth to remove, amongst which Rick found
an old cast iron object. Colin was kept hard at work constructing
stiles, the second of which was precariously positioned on a bank.
Meanwhile Bob and Dave were elsewhere putting in a plank bridge
