| Norman
took the group to BUDE for the 2008 pre-easter long weekends. He had
to use two hotels because of the ever increasing popularity of this
holiday! On each of the four days there was a choice of at least one
long and one short walk. I am grateful to everyone who has given me
photographs of the walks. |

Woman seeks attention |

To ensure no-one gets
lots at the start Norman has painted the tarmac |

"Muddling"
along |

Barbara isn't yet back
to her best |

Looking up the estuary |

Will the photographer
forget her day pack?! |
|
Golf seems a more attractive
option right now |

Having grown a tail Norman
decides against sitting down |

The home straight |
|
Looks like another coastal
walk today |

What are we supposed
to do then? Swim up the canal?!! |

These are some Mike baked
earlier |

Mike and Rick watch anxiously
as the cake supply dwindles |

Tony is the tea boy today |

This is Mike's tea shop |
|

Mike is determined to
tell the group about the canal |

I thought following
canals meant flat walking |

Rick shows off his front
loading trouser pockets |

Surely this is the top
now! |

Coasting along again |

Waiting for Norman? |

Someone's built a visitors'
centre here |

A precarious tea stop |

The route ahead is obvious! |
|

For most resting is more
of a priority than enjoying the view |

Tony caught in a rare
moment of elation |

Disappointment that the
derelict building is neither a toilet nor a tea shop |
|

Spectacular coastline |

Appreciating sun -- and
level ground |

Spreading out up the
final hill |
