Berwick St. John in September 2009
Celia's lovely long 14 mile walk was a fine challenge and took in paths and park land unfamiliar to most of the 18 or so who turned up on a pleasant sunny September day

After 6 months this is hardly a speedy return

Ken has spotted something to expound upon

As Celia would say "what's the point of trig?"

Don't look now but there's a rocket laucher behind you

Gus demonstrates his soft shoe shuffle

Lesley permanently reddy for serious walking

Bob reckons we're here and Gus is there

Seriously Paula I'm not joking -- Jethro can't stand cheese sandwiches

Lunch

Having left Minnie at home Gus is in a particularly happy mood today

Getting back on the correct route was a minor problem

With Trevor III transferred Francoise has returned to the team

Bob nose how to read a map

The leader catches up with Gus

But later with Gus 5 miles ahead Celia is not amused
