| It
is very
important that Walk Leaders are aware of what they
should do in the event of an Incident or Accident. |
For detailed information
about the distinction between accidents and incidents
read the Civil Liability Insurance document |
|
An
accident may be considered as: |
An undesired event that results in harm to people,
damage to property, or harm to the environment |
An
incident may be considered as: |
An
occurrence that affected, or could have affected,
the safety or security of an activity |
|
| A
Report Form should be completed and sent to the Group
Secretary who may then decide it is sufficiently serious
to inform the insurers and The Ramblers central office
|
| Detailed information about the types of
accident or incident that should be reported to central
office can be found within the Civil Liability Insurance
document |
