This
is the fenced off entrance to an old bridge we tried to clear and
open up |

Once
the bridge had been cleared of undergrowth it was obvious that we
couldn't repair it
|
James
demonstrates the precaurious state of the uprights |

At the
othe end of the bridge Ken kept his eye on the job until the brambles
bit back |

We reckon
the dangerous bridge is in South Somerset so we left it for them
to sort out and moved onto some stile work
|
In this
area ditches and rhynes provide small technical challenges |
|
And
of course remedial fence work is often needed |
The
plank is original
|
And
so is Bob |

This
old stile needs replacing |

Eric
and Technical Tony are soon at work digging holes for the new stile
|
And
now it's Ken's turn to contribute the step work |
