Every year Mendip Ramblers'
Association concentrates on opening up paths in a particular area.
The year's work culminates in a Walking Festival held over the
August Bank Holiday. Every day over this three day holiday period
there are three different walks available, all led by regular
work party members. These walks vary in length from 5 miles to
10 miles and highlight the extensive work we have carried out.
Shown below are a series of photographs taken during work parties
from MAY 2005 to SEPTEMBER 2005. Bob Berry organises all the work
with the regular weekly team of Colin, Rick, Dave O, Owen . Many
others such as Gus, Dave W, Doug, Derek and Trevor also help regularly.

Be
patient if you have DIAL UP .. this page will take ages to reveal
itself .. but once it's downloaded it'll come up immediately next
time you view it
If
you have BROADBAND you'll wonder what the fuss is about and why
the photos are such poor quality ... to allow for reasonable dial
up times I have to compress image file sizes to about 80Mb -- less
than a tenth of their original size! |
